At the 25th World Travel Awards, Meliá Hotels International Cuba once again features among the nominated facilities. On this occasion, six of the company’s hotels have been chosen, in three different categories.
Meliá Cohiba and Meliá Cayo Coco are among those nominated as Cuba's Leading Hotel. Furthermore, in the Cuba´s Leading Resort section, the following hotels have been selected: Paradisus Princesa del Mar, Paradisus Varadero and Paradisus Río de Oro, three exclusive, all inclusive eco-resorts; the 2017 winner of this award, Meliá Las Dunas, has also been selected.
The list is complete with the nomination of Meliá Cohiba’s The Level Master Suite in the section of Cuba´s Leading Hotel Suite.

Havana, 16th July 2018. A total of 11 hotels in the Meliá Hotels International Cuba group were recently awarded the Certificate of Excellence 2018 by the popular website TripAdvisor. The award is given each year to establishments, which have achieved great user reviews over the course of the previous year, recognising accommodation services that consistently provide great hospitality and deliver a high-quality service.
The Meliá Las Américas, Meliá Santiago de Cuba, Sol Cayo Coco, Meliá Habana, Paradisus Río de Oro, Meliá Las Antillas and Meliá Cayo Coco have ratified their commitment to excellence by once again obtaining this certificate, which they also received last year, and new to the list of hotels receiving the award are the Meliá Cohiba, Meliá Varadero, Meliá Buenavista and Meliá Marina Varadero Apartments.
This distinction is recognition of the commitment by Meliá to delivering a distinguished service and quality features.
